High School (10-12)

Al Batoul Virtual International School (BVIS) and Al Furjan Private School – The American Virtual Program (FVAS) is an interactive, self-paced, flexible, and success-oriented high school program for students ages ten to twelve. Students enrolled in our high school can expect to receive 8 credits per academic year depending on the credits needed to earn the diploma as well as the student’s preferences.

Our high school program provides flexibility and ease while giving students the opportunity to customize their education. With over a hundred different courses available in high schools, students, with the help of an academic advisor, can craft an education that suits their individual needs and goals. For example, students enrolled in university can earn honors and advanced placement (AP) courses to help them be more competitive university applicants or career-related students can take our elective courses that align with their career goals.

Through our courses and through the guidance of our dedicated teachers, students in this program will reach a new level of independent thinking, responsibility and confidence that will stick to them outside of our schools!

We hope you consider joining our high school!

Support for parents
At the high school level, it’s important to be able to continue to be involved in your students’ education.

We will make sure that you can easily monitor the student. You will receive a weekly progress report via email with an overview of the student’s performance in each of their courses. This report also includes detailed information about a student’s grades and the amount of time spent on course activities.

If you have concerns about your student’s progress, you can contact your student’s teacher and academic advisor for support.

If you want to keep other adult advocates informed of your student’s progress, we can make sure they get a weekly progress report as well.

Curriculum Engagement

We will not burden the student with long pages of text to read. Instead, to reach all types of learners, we make sure to address different learning styles. Your student is asked to watch, listen, read, interact, practice, and create.

.Supports are built directly into the course to help your students when they are experiencing difficulties. Examples of these supports include concepts biotic videos, keyword definitions, and low-risk assessments that allow them to review what they’ve learned before moving on to a recorded activity.
